The Instax Mini 40 carries the same kind of nostalgic instant photo appeal of the original Polaroid camera but with more style. This instant film camera is retro styled like an old-school film camera and has a retractable 35mm lens and an automatic exposure function that make great photos a cinch. It also has a built-in flash, selfie capability via a mirror and a pull-out lens, as well as the ability to churn out a fully-developed photo in 90 seconds. Film packs cost $15 for a 20-pack, and the Instax Mini 40 can hold 10 shots at a time. You can also use “Contact Sheet” film with black borders and orange lettering for even more throwback goodness. Talk about making smartphone photos seem that much less fun. It goes on sale in April.
